My dear friends, followers and new visitors from all around the world: the time is now! After four years of blogging in Polish, I’m starting to write about my adventures in English. I hope you will enjoy and won’t be too serious about my small (or big?) language mistakes. For those of you who don’t know me, I’ve prepared a short introduction below.
My name is Aleksandra Świstow (you can call me Aleks), I’m a full time traveler, blogger, writer and life lover. I can’t live without people and sun, don’t like to eat by fork and knife, love sports and mountains all year around and hate winter in town.
I could never stay in the same place for long and I still can’t believe how I was able to work 8/5 in the office for a couple of years, changing only haircuts, apartments and boyfriends. Finally a few months before turning 30, the day I came back from my second trip through Asia, I decided to quit my corporate job and it was the best decision of my entire life. I moved to China where I was living over two years and where I wrote a book (hell yeah!) published by National Geographic (it’s only in Polish so far, but you can be sure I’ll let you know about releasing an English version). Then… again I left everything behind and started to travel around the world for 15 months. Currently I’m living in beautiful Annecy in France, enjoying Alps and from time to time I work as a guide in South- East Asia.
I’m really excited to share my adventures and experiences with you and inspire you to travel, to make your wildest dreams come true and to cross the borders- especially the ones of your comfort zone.
See you on the road!
